i REALLY want Derosa in pinstripes!

Haha I just included that because I just couldn't find a spot for him! Figure he can be super-utility type that plays almost every day if they want to give people rest//Also, he could be a cheap Chone Figgins....almost gave him to the mets instead

Damon to the Mets?

Brandon said...

This was first suggested by Nick Picero of the Arizona Republic. I think it could happen. A. He wants to stay in NY. B. THe Giants are only team besides Yankees to express interest. C. Mets need corner OF. D. Yankees signing Holliday would eliminate need for Damon

The Blue Jays will not sign Jose Valverde.

Unknown said...

D Backs will not be going after Laroche. Brandon Allen is getting the chance to win that job.

Unknown said...

Glaus and Mora going to SD to compete against Headley? What am I missing? Also, B. Molina to DET? With Laird and Avila already entrenched there I'm not sure how he would fit in assuming neither are traded.

Brandon said...

I put Laroche on the dbacks BECAUSE Brandon Allen is there....I see him starting the year in AAA with Laroche holding it over till they trade him midseason

Brandon said...

My bad with the Glaus and Mora....I have Adrian Gonzalez being traded so ONE of them play first or third with headley....sorry about that

Brandon said...

I have Valverde on the Jays because they would rather have Frasor/Downs in 8th inning role with an established closer. SHowed willingness to sign closer with B.J. Ryan

how do you see jon garland going to the red sox?

Brandon said...

Redsox are always looking for back of the end rotation insurance type of starters

i suppose you think the yankees are going to go with a 20 man rotation next year? cc.aj burnett..pettite..joba chamberlin..erik bedard..rich harden..and whoever else you said..thats unrealistic...and as for matt holliday in pin stripes..wont happen its obvious your an ignorant yankee fan

Brandon said...

Actually 25 man rotation! haha I can see the Yankees stacking up the pitchers but if I had to predict the actual rotation as of this second I'd have

1. CC
2. A.J.
3. Bedard
4. Pettite
5. Harden/Joba/Hughes

As for Holliday I wouldn't consider myself very ignorant. The Yankees said they weren't interested in Mark Teixeira in parts of last year. THey said they weren't interested in negotiating with A-Rod in 2007. And by the way...its pinstripes....one word

I'd love to get DeRosa in Pinstripes. He's a great guy off of te bench and can play 3b, ss, 2b, and 1b and LF. And he can start if the need arises.

Aren't Boston Fans fun when they lose?

Brandon said...

Yes Bret, they are! As for DeRosa I'm not sure he would want to come off the bench, but I can still see him playing about 130 or 140 games without injury...one game at 1st, 3rd, short, 2nd, outfield a week...etc

Pikadrew said...

Well i will give you one team interested, at least via local news to DeRosa. And they would give him starting time on playoff team.. the Twins.

I do think Wolf is realistic for them, and they are still negotiating with Pavano. Otherwise, i like most of the moves.

Brandon said...

Thanks for reading and I think Wolf is better fit in the NL but if an AL team offers that might be too good to refuse
